Every three years coinciding with the Jewish Funders Network International Philanthropy conferences AJF curates a five-day experiential trip to Israel that focuses on strategic and impactful ways to invest in Israel from strategic philanthropy to impact investing. We offer a very focused and in depth look at the creative and progressive work of Israeli non-government organisations (NGOs) and the outstanding role of Israeli philanthropy and foundations. Highlights include site visits and exclusive access to some of the most influential and experienced philanthropists, government officials and leaders within the social and environmental impact space in Israel.
These trips are a wonderful opportunity to deepen and nurture our member’s journeys in philanthropy with a specific focus on how to strategically invest in Israel. We showcase organisations that are prominent in the environmental or social sectors in order to provide insights, tools and the information necessary to ask the right questions, identify the right partners and structure the collaboration successfully and sustainably.
AJF Member and Study Tour Participant, Liora Miller wrote of her experiences in her article, Rawabi – Mamilla of the West, and Sarah Davies, CEO Philanthropy Australia shared her take aways from the Study Tour through a video blog.
